Yes I know, but users still complain. For one thing, releasing the update for all users at once causes network congestion. It's not uncommon for the update to take hours or simply fail if you jump on it right away. But still, Apple's methods is the best, IMHO.

I guess hours is better than weeks and months though huh?

Ha ha yes it is. But check iMore right after an update is released, and there are plenty of complaints! :asleep: I had an iPhone 5 when iOS 7 was released, and it took a long time for the update to download, and that was after several failures. I decided that the next time I would wait until the next day after release to install the update, but soon after that I sold my iPhone and since then I haven't had another one.

You'll have to wait for Cyan to roll out in Cambodia in order to get Cyan.

The update is available on L625 in Australia on the Virgin network. I installed all the updates this afternoon on my mums 625, then it said the 8.1 is ready to install but then i got an error message. I didn't have time to keep trying but i will try it again tomorrow. Nothing yet on my L1320 CV.
