Hopefully, that's true for the US as well. Been waiting quite a while for the Cyan update for the AT&T Lumia 1020

The update is available on L620 in Australia on the Virgin network. I installed all the updates this afternoon on my mums 625, then it said the 8.1 is ready to install but then i got an error message. I didn't have time to keep trying but i will try it again tomorrow. Nothing yet on my L1320 CV.

620 or 625 ?? BRo!!!

It is getting a joke now having to wait, do you think anyone from Microsoft reads these forums and see's how annoyed the customers are getting, seems like they just don't care about customer satisfaction

520 please
WP8.1 and Cyan is already out for the 520 if you have the at&t version. At&t released the update several days ago and I already updated mine a couple of days ago. I'm not sure when other carriers will release the update for their versions of the 520.

Since Amber I noticed a lot inpatient people (like I was or used to be) around the time a firmware or a software update was released. Guys, as far as I can say, my wife's waiting period around a software update for her SG S5 is a lot longer than on WP OS... show some patience, ppl at MS and Nokia are working to make us happy. They will eventually.

My carrier is H2O, on AT&T's network, and I installed it today by manually checking for updates. I didn't see an update waiting in my shopping cart. I had to check under Phone Update in settings. Now I have 8.1 but my Phone Update screen says "We are currently unable to check for updates. (80072ee7)".

Check if battery saver or data sense is active.. I've found that one of those can prevent updates being checked for.

It checked for updates when I tapped "check for updates" so I'm satisfied. I like it manual. I don't want it checking when I'm using cellular data. Weird error-looking message though.

I assume the latency is because of the layoff that took place a few days ago, both the company (M$ & Nokia) are still getting settled into, before they start their work.. But if the August month passes by & still if they don't get their $H1T together, than.. I can vouch.. Microsoft will be a HAS-BEEN soon in mobile race.
