No, it puts the most recent "commercial release" on your phone, which for the current version of the app is 8.0GDR3+Black. The next version will most likely restore 8.1+Cyan instead - since Cyan isn't out for all phones yet.

I think Cyan will roll out to 820, 920 and 1020 by the end of this week.

No, that would be way too much for Microsoft to handle. They are hardly able to release the update for one model a week, so why would they suddenly be able to release it for three models at the same time?

After the app's been updated, then most likely - or in the case of the 810, they will only get 8.0+Amber regardless.

I know everyone else doesn't understand microkia's update style, I don't even think the employees understand it. Some halfwit named opey is controlling the whole thing where he presses one key on his keyboard a week and that lucky model gets cyan. That's my personal belief anyway

Yes, it won't downgrade to 8.0 if the new firmware is available for it. But, it takes weeks before the update starts showing up in NSRT.

That's the thing our good guy opey randomly presses it...think of it like the lottery
