Haven't been to a concert in ages... (Ok, I couldn't make it to the U2 gig in Spore last year... one of my major regrets of 2019!!!

Anyway.. the US Embassy bought Farewell, Angelina over from Nashville
Never heard of them before but it was quite enjoyable. Also it was a good chance to put my Nokia8.1 to the test... All shot on Gcam Night Sight, handheld, seating 50 feet away from the stage.
These shots are not edited/retouched or cropped. The graininess and blur is obvious... I guess the camera is decent for mid-rangers.
There wasn't much red in the spotlights, there were purple beam though, but it all came out bluish...

I think my issue has been that even though I don't mind larger screens on a phone, as an enthusiast I have more access to bigger screens anyways. I own an android tablet and a windows PC, so I don't use my mobile for EVERYTHING these days. I used to do that when the tech wasn't so good and the budget was smaller and I realized that I spent too much time on my device. That device fatigue was one of the main reasons I dropped Apple too as the app fatigue with them was crazy.

So I'll always lean to the traditional - smaller handsets, flat or very gentle curved screens. But, like with most things, I'm in the minority here.

Having used the OP7T for a day here are a couple of thoughts. Phone flies, screen is gorgeous and big. But for some reason I still like the smaller size of the Pixel. I'm going to keep using the OP for a few more weeks and will post my tidbits.

The Glacier Blue color is quite nice.

I really do like the 9 Pureview though. I guess I won't get the battery life I want for a while as it's all relative. On the test drive for the Mate yesterday, I didn't use it much but ended the day with 65% battery. 65%of a 4200mah (likely 4000mah due to degradation). That's a bit different than 65% of a 3300mah battery (like 3100mah under the same conditions.

Unbricked!!!

Now I have 10 million LG devices. SMH.
So I'm going to fully restore my V35 after applying the latest firmware, which leaves me with it on the Nov 2019 security patch. I like my V40. I'm glad in a way I didn't fix the V35 right away and bought this as an intermezzo, simply because jumping up the screen size was manageable...and it makes using a V50 easier since it's essentially the same phone.

My V40 is unlocked from T-mobile. The back is clean and the scratches on the screen weren't as bad as shown in the pictures. I've put my tempered glass on it and the skin on the back and it's been good to go ever since. I'm open to moving it to the right smoke free home for the right option. The V35 is harder to move as since I was using it without a case, it fell in the street and has some dings on it for sure. Plus the price for the V35 is terrible and you can easily find a replacement.

It's sad to say this, but I think everyone should have a closest LG device...even if it's for a back up. It's the reason why I didn't sell my G7+, as I earmarked it for a friend of mine.

I think I would be OK to moving the V40, using the V35 in the interim until I decide if I'm getting a V50 or a V60.

If they believed in making small phones that were at least midrange, I would have loved to try one. This sounds like a plan. I wish you good luck with selling the V40.
