WC 1M Post Challenge - You Ready?!

I don't know why I try to understand
It's pretty simple (logically you know this, emotionally and morally his approach still doesn't register)

He ego says "I'm in control. I take 100% of the credit when things go right and those who work for me take 100% of the blame when things go wrong."

He's run the country like it's his business for the past three years. He's nearly 80; ain't gonna do a damn thing different now.

I just find it interesting when Obama was in office, using a certain level of grace and respect (even if you didn't agree with his policies) he was often demonized using this "thuggish" approach. Now when Trump is in office using this "thuggish" approach, people are still shocked and trying to use grace and respect to understand it.

You cannot expect a wild bear when hungry to tell you the difference between dry aged beef, filet mignon and chuck. It's gonna tell you it's food - it all tastes the same and does the same job - gives energy to find more food.

All 45 cares about is 'winning' and being the 'best'. He could care less how many people die. Learnt the 'sympathy' has from his father. All that matters to him is that he comes out looking better than anyone else. All that matters is that he wins the next election. Nothing else.

The word grace is not a word to describe him. Even in better times.

I just hope people have realised how horrible a leader (used very loosely) he is but I doubt it...

Though I didn't agree with everything Obama did at least he was dignified and a decent human being.

If any Democrat president ever acted like 45 the news media would trear him to pieces, especially faux news and the thug party known as the GOP...

It's absolutely amazing what he's gotten away with. It's unfortunate he'll ever pay for it or his family.

He'll never answer to his mistakes. It seems he's never had throughout his life, so he won't learn now. I'm not surprised about what he's gotten away with either. He's gonna make a November whether he wins or loses - especially if he loses.

It's a lose-lose for everyone else but him and those in his corner.

Making plans for time off, due to school, has made me realize the amount of time left. I have made a schedule of what I plan to do, and I hope to be able to do it in this way, if not better. I feel okay, but still not looking forward to the cumulative final exam I have.

Obama was demonized because he had swag and he didn’t walk, he had a strut. If I didn’t know better I’d swear he played for UM.

I stumble upon twitter, a old newspaper cutting from 2005... where he is purported to have said... never to blame himself, even if he did something bad, blame it on something else...

In another news, the kittens are now 25 days old.... mamma have decided to move the 5 babies to another part of the house... right under my rattan sofa in the sitting room

meanwhile, we see signs of the curve being flattened. We had several days where recovery numbers were higher than new cases.... but everyone is extremely cautious... there are too many pending cases, frontliners are getting infected, red zones remain red...
and the public gave the government a tongue lashing for permitting barbershops to reopen, which was rescinded a few days later. Red faces all around... Seems a lack of coordination and consultation with the Dept Of Health

You mean your government is just as inept as the Trump Administration? I don’t feel so bad anymore.

Spent most of the day in the fields planting potato. Don't know what to expect in the coming months, so better safe than sorry.

Why do I need to login to view NYT page?

All I saw was the headline and unfortunately, I can't say I'm surprised. We've advanced so much in certain areas, while in some... It's like we're back in 5th century with our mindset.
It's subscription based...i was only trying to post COVID-19 articles, which they stated people could see for free during the pandemic.

There is ineptness, and then there is ineptness. I don't envy US for having such a leader...
But over here, its just a distraction and feel-good factor to read or search out anti-Trump/USA/West and PRC overcoming-the-odds blogs, opinion, articles.
Just pondering the obvious.

So I'm working from home until May 11th, at the earliest.

I'm not entirely sure what is going to happen exactly or how they're planning to go about this. The president admitted that they're still working out the strategy.

I may need to say home longer though so who knows?
