Don't they have private voting in France? I knew the guy who was my city council representative a few years ago, but I'm fairly certain that he wouldn't have known how I voted since I didn't discuss it with him.

What's the purpose of an election if one cannot keep his vote private? That sounds like it would be a system easily controlled by corrupt and criminal enterprises that could coerce voters by bribery or physical violence.
Don't be giving nobody no ideas. Yes, the triple negatives were intentional.

Just goes to show how sensible leadership can make the best out of a bad situation. Your karaoke bars are re-opening and our sh*t-for-brains governor has ordered all bars to close again. Nearly 9000 new cases in Flori-Duh yesterday. Un-f**king-believable.
Any leader with a miniscule of intelligence will step back and let the science dictate SOP and policies. Anything else is pure idiocy. I pity you guys under that orange POS.
Malaysia was on the brink and staring into deep **** when the virus first hit. Now our numbers are singular digits... recovery is 95% and we have zero to single digits of patients in ICU..
Wear a mask people, stay away from crowd, be clean.... virus doesnt move by itself... people move the virus.

It's both a voting issue and small town issue.

Better voting systems are needed in general. However in a small town they can sort of figure out who voted for who.

In larger towns and cities it's not that much of a problem as there's more people and better systems in place.

When my wife voted the first time she was startled by the little privacy there was. It's hard to explain without going into full detail.

So in her view it was better not to vote.

This is for the mayor position. These people will be on the local council regardless.

Would she be able to vote in Paris where you are currently residing?

Some Balkan politics for you. Serbian ruling party (extreme right of course) paid the Romanis to vote for them on the local elections.

Now, the Romani people here aren't all that well educated, sadly. So instead of telling them for whom to vote, they just told them to vote for number 4. Which they did. Unfortunately (for the party that is), they voted for number 4 on the parliamentary elections. Which like, isn't even close.

So now, the Hungarian party (there are like 10 Hungarians in that town) are THIRD on the list by popular vote.

Huge lol.

I can confirm this. It's actually quite easy to figure out who voted for whom in a small town. That's why we have unevenly paved roads and stuff.

If only they hadn't eased the restrictions. The virus is now booming. I don't think hot weather is going to stop it either.

If the situation wasn't this bad I'd already be near a pool or a river.

We went to look at some trees yesterday. Deciding on which on to get. Want the kid to be able to climb one and play around like we did growing up.

Spotted a beautiful magnolia at the nursery. 20200627_112152.jpeg

Thinking of putting this flowering shrub in the yard as well. We mostly have roses in the front yard and a few Chrysanthemums.

It's called Cape Plumbago.20200627_112018.jpeg
