When will AT&T Lumia 830 get PROPER Denim update?

One can dream can't they? It would be a great thing if they fixed this debacle. What a mess.

I picked up a cheap 640 XL as a possible replacement (until the fall 940 release) for my 830 because without the Lumia Camera the 640 XL is the better camera. It's just a little big for my liking. Come on AT&T fix this thing finally..

My 830 is my backup to a 1520.3. I'd love for it to have full Denim and Lumia Cam 5...

The funny thing is I had a Blu Win HD for a backup... Then I got a 928 because I wanted the two DT-910 charging stands in the bundle, so I sold the Blu... Then worldspy99 turned me on to a can't miss deal on the 830. It really impressed me during my time doing the 3 way shootout between 830, 928 and 1520 cameras. I drove the 830 daily for a month, so I ditched the 928...

Now I almost want to sell the 830 and get a Blu Win HD LTE. It's almost full circle. That Snapdragon 410 intrigues me.

Someone offered me a chance to buy a BLU HD a few days ago, and I passed. Maybe I should have bought it.

I did buy a BLU One L120 for my daughter's boyfriend, who's LG G3 was stolen. He loves it, and it's only 3G. I'll have to keep an eye out for an HD.

By all accounts, the HD LTE is nicer all around and they've improved the camera firmware. Also it has been "guaranteed" by Blu to get Win 10 Mo.

Don't be surprised if the 830 NEVER gets updated. ATT is trying to outdo Verizon's lack of support for the 930.

I just talked to an AT&T tech who had some very promising news. They said that they started batching out the Denim update to compatible IMEIs a week ago and that the Lumia 830 is on the list. But they couldn't give an exact date for when I would get mine.

EDIT: I mean, I'll believe it when I see it... but the use of technical terms and the change from silence to details I'll take as a good sign.

welp, its been 20 days.

I'm justifying the ATT 830 on my end in that my 920 wouldn't get LC5 anyway. (and by the looks of 10, doesn't have Rich Capture in that Camera app)

I know this will probably do nothing, But I did put some benefit oft he doubt in AT&T, and they squashed that all to hell. I filed a BBB complaint asking for a full refund for the purchase price of the phone as well as compensation of the cost of my Netflix subscription due to the bug with the pre-release version of Denim. I will post what happens, my previous BBB complaint with lumia Black ended with the release of the firmware, but that was totally coincidental

My guess is that it will go nowhere. But I'm sick and tired of sitting around. I figured I would do something, even if it is only for my own satisfaction. We may pull all of our phones within the year and move to t mobile With unlocked phones. I'm sick of this carrier bull feces

Well... God of WCentral forum readers with an 830 WHO HAVE U.S. ATT AS A CARRIER. That's a much smaller group.
Pretty much everyone else in the world has had it for half a year now.

Can't join in on one, its a state by state thing but the more the merrier. Better Business Bureau: Start With Trust?
The more complaints they get the more notice the bb will take. I say lay it on them
