Who's got build 10581? How's it working for you?

I can confirm that motion data works, it tracks my steps, even thou there is a failed app updated in the store. Seems like default app works just fine.
My steps are still missing, and motion is still not working for me.
The only update this seems to have done for me, is enabled the wide tile on the facebook app!

Well, previous build screwed up the sms restore, so I performed hard reset to get them all back. Unfortunately, this build does not bother to restore sms at all... It seems I lost them for good.

I am in the same buddy, i have tried all i can but none is working .Has anyone here managed to have sms backup restored ?

Oh well so based on what I read, this issue isn't new either and still persist even on later builds. Looks like I have to rest my phone for a while since this is just a hassle and annoying to redo everything again. In this case I'll just stay for this build and maybe wait for any news if there will be another build coming or not. Since the new build is generally the same, I can just stay for a while and continue giving feedbacks which is the point why I decided to even participate.

Microsoft seriously needs to nail to fix these upgrade issues especially for public builds as much as they can, also best if they can make it more optimize and causes little issues after upgrading things. Resetting should not be a rule for every upgrade in Windows, it should be just an option on rather rare cases.

1520: Build works great, but Message app is crashing a lot. Every second time I enten Message for viewing a SMS, the app closes. The next time I enter is OK... Besides that, looks great!

I also have this issue of the phantom Motion App update that just won't install. I wish it would. Anyone managed to fix it?

Not yet. Had this with Photos Plugin in previous builds which I managed to get rid of by uninstalling Lumia Moments that came with the image right after hard reset and before it could be updated by the store. But that is not possible here I guess. Hope it will be fixed for the RTM.

Upgraded my Lumia 830 to this build coming from 10572. Apart from a bump in perfomance as in extremely smooth and fluidic transitions, there is nothing new atall as in features!! only one bugg is the SD card showing up real weird names in the storage sense and phone memory not showng up atall. but everything works fine when u access it from the file manager. Battery life is pretty good too......i see far lesser drain, and i havnt hard reset post update

I must say ... WOOOW, first time I see something like this, I'm using Lumia 640LTE, did an update directly, without any resetting, etc, after update I also didn't reset anything, just left it over the night so all files could settle. Today it's speedy as Bugatti Veyron.
Now I really think that we are close to the end of the Insider game :). I also had some updates like camera, photos, skype and messaging, office, outlook mail, and some others. Maybe there are some apps that doesn't work, but I don't use them so don't know...

i have a wweird problem though since being on build 10572 and this build 10581. My Lumia 830 screen blinks or winks or flashes for a second every now and then.......its as if the screen is fluctuating......but just maybe one blink for a second and everything works again, no crashes, no reboot or restarts happen.......and there is nothing wrong with the screen am sure coz i had reverted back to 8.1 and the problem stopped for a week.....the moment i upgraded to 100581, it has started again. anyone else facing this problem??

I have Lumia 640. It works extremely well on it!

Internet Sharing works perfectly. No problems. and sharing continues normally even if phone is locked. Battery drains much slower than what it did on previous build. All the apps I use daily work perfectly.

I didn't do any resets after this update and everything seems to work great! Previous build had issues with phone restarting itself, so far this build has been very stable.
