Why can't I move my data from my blackberry Q5 to my windows phone?

Windows Central Question

My 'Welcome home to windows phone' app isn't connecting with my blackberry, hence I can not scan the data to be transferred to my windows phone. Please help as I am getting frustrated. Thanks
