I'm curious to hear what your opinions are on this.

It seems that when browsing the web, majority of tech bloggers love to hate on Windows (Phone). Going the next level, mobile store employees seem to love to hate on Windows (Phone).

It's common knowledge now that the Snapchat CEO hates it, and now we know the CEO of Pebble hates it. Even the "Blend It" guy, seems to have some sort of misguided hate towards Windows Phone.

Why?? What has Windows Phone ever done that has developed this hatred by so many. Why do you think?

They are just superstitious i would say....
I too had a few friends like that.
The problem is that they have head about WP only by word of mouth. (missing features, not that much impressive hardware, etc etc)
They haven't actually used it.

They think WP is still the old windows phone 8.
They don.t know about 8.1 and how good it is.
I actually convinced two of my friends with my 630 into buying the new 730
And they brought it and they are actually happy with it.
I saved them from the world of lagdroid.

It's the name 'Windows'. It rings bells. Many people think: Complicated, old, blue screens, viruses,
MS should seriously consider a rebrand for the consumer side.

They don't hate WP.
They just consider it's not the best OS available on the market in terms of quality/smoothness (resuming...), apps available (app gap), features (actionable notifications not available before the end of 2015, Cortana still in alpha/beta in most languages, bad music player ...) and devices (535's screen issues...).
I tend to agree with them...

NB: Microsoft hasn't developped Office for Linux. It doesn't mean they hate Linux. It's just that they consider their is no interest in developing a program that concerns less than 1.5% of PC users. Similarly, most developers don't care about making apps for a platform that has 2.6% market share (and mainly low end phones). It's all about money. I don't blame them.

Funny how most of the computer market is owned by windows.

People see others with the big thing. Take the iPhone, for instance. Someone else sees it, and has no knowledge of windows phone. That person will probably get the iPhone simply because everyone has it.

People don't hate windows phone. They just aren't open minded enough to understand it's immense power and potential.
