Why does my Lumia 625 keep freezing

My 625 keeps freezing even after doing several soft resets.
From what I have read everyone says to do a factory reset but no one has actually said if this extreme measure works or not. Im not going to do a factory reset if it does'nt work. This is obviously a very common problem so why hasn't it been sorted with a software update. Oh, the phone is running the new Denim OS

There are a lot of reasons and a factory reset may cure them. But a slow Sd card Class 4) or a "bad" SD card or not enough storage space can also be a reason and this can not be solved by a factory reset. Also if you allow a lot off apps in the background can be a reason.
Clear IE history and with storage sense temp filed.

So try to find out which one it is and if all this fails a factory reset may help.

Same here. And its real freeze, complete dead. Could be device driver related. Even camera somes stop working, showing only green screen. Worse experience even than on my another lumia 630.
