I jumped on the WP bandwagon with the 920. The phone was such a beauty I just couldn't bear seeing it in someone else's hands without wanting it for my own. At that point the app gap didn't bother me that much ( it still doesn't). I was fully aware of it but the smoothness of the UI, the integration between hubs and other parts of the OS made up for it, and some.
Then they took out facebook messaging integration, touting that something else was coming but I had to wait until yesterday to actually see it happen. I bought the 1520 after that. Partly because I was still in love with the OS, partly because the 930 was unavailable at that time in my region (US) and, well, it is a beauty after all (still prefer the 930 though).
Windows 10 mobile has potential a lot of it. They're fixing their vision of having hamburger menus everywhere, the OS for such an early build is remarkably stable and the integration with the windows ecosystem is great (I own a PC, and an XBOXone too so).
And to be honest, I've been waiting for a new flagship phone for a while now. But this. I can understand the design language, but to me, this is a let-down. In my opinion, the two phone leaked are in no way close the beauty and class of the 930, 1520, 920 or 820. Problem is, I don't think android phones look that good either. The S6 is ok but just ok, Sony's phones are meh and HTC is stuck with a boring design. I like HTC sense though.
So there I am. I might get another WP if the leaked phones look better in real. But to be honest, my wallet is up for grabs. I'll probably head into a phone shop and buy whatever I find pretty.
