WP8.1 GDR1 - update downloaded couldn't be opened

I did a reset on the phone then i update it worked

Open Diagnosis center and in that number pad type *#321647335
diag center you can instal when in your dial up press ##634# and wait 5-6 sec

I think it does if you need update 1. The flip side is you are going to lose all data.

I did all this steps over and over again all day. The effect was equel to zero.

Ok guys, I have been plagued with the "Downloaded but could not open" error (8018830f) <<< I know that error code by heart now

I tried hard reset, I tried clearing temp, I tried rebooting and just about everything, nothing worked

Then I downgraded to WP8.0 Black using Nokias Recovery Tool, updated officially to 8.1 Cyan, then installed the Dev preview app and updated to 8.1 update 1, and it worked perfectly, now running 8.1.1 on my L625

So if any of you are in a hurry for the update, and don't mind wiping your phone (Do a backup first), that's the way to do it

Having the same problem. Lumia 925 India WP 8.1 Cyan. Anyone else facing the same problem and has an idea on how to overcome it? I don't think its because of Cyan right?

Doesn't seem to work for me either.
Mine is a Lumia 925 (Hungarian, T-Mobile) with Cyan firmware, 8.1 OS already installed.
Same error message as previously reported.
