It's looking like this is mostly an optimization update. On my Lumia 1520 it saw a 6.4% performance boost according to WP Bench.
Before the update I had already done some extensive benchmarking and was coming out with 527.74 as my performance rating. After the update the performance rating under the same conditions is coming out at 561.45.
That would explain the performance boosts folks are reporting in the news article on the front page.

I can also say that after the update to GDR3 a couple of days ago my battery life suffers somewhat. Nokia Lumia 920.

I found that if you highlight and then press the Bing Search button it searches it on the bing site now. This is a good development.

What happens if I do a hard reset on my Lumia 820 now? I have the latest and greatest Developer Preview update.
Do I go back to GDR2 or lose my ability to get further preview updates?

nope, you will stay at GDR3. However you will have to download Developer Preview again and click on "enroll" log in, and accept terms again.

I installed the latest updates for GDR 3, and now on i am unable to connect the phone to PC, it apears connected but the files are no longer shown on windows explore/file explorer.
I tested it on diferent logins on PC, and other PC's as well.

make sure you've got your phone unlocked (tiles on startscreen, not a wallpaper)

I'm having issues with mail syncing while on WiFi after the last update. I've noticed a few times that it stays on "syncing" until I turn off WiFi or just toggle it off and on again. I've soft reset a couple times but the problem returns. Anyone else?

MS just can't get out of their own way. This is getting ridiculous. We have to wait this long for such a weak set of features?

I am planning to do a start-up. I got to know that Windows phone users love their device, but they have concerns with the number of apps available on the platform. They would like to have popular apps from Android or iPhone available on Windows Phone.
My idea is to make android apps available on Windows Phone. I have explained the idea in following survey.
