Don't apologize about your English, it's really good! I'm a typical American - I speak only one language, so I'm really envious of people like you!
I find the back button to be erratic in its function. Sometimes it goes back within the app I'm in, sometimes it takes me to the previous app. That is true even within the same app, it will behave differently from time to time. I haven't been able to make sense of it. This is the kind of thing I expect them to address in Windows 10.
I have a problem with video lag now and then, the picture freezes and portions of it get pixellated for a second or two. My theory has been that it is because I save video and photos to the SD card. But I haven't tested my theory!
Good luck, I'm glad you like the phone. This was my first WP after 3 iPhones and a Palm Treo! And I am very happy I made the switch ...
I think part of the problem is that the button illumination turns off a little too soon with respect to the ambient lighting, which can make the back button a little hard to find in bright daylight.I had no problems with the back button till now, it only bothers me that it has a small area, where it actually works. So sometimes I have to tap it more times, till I hit directly on the arrow, or it will not go back. Or maybe I just must be more accurate
Not sure if mentioned before, but I just received my 830. I'm coming from a 630 so maybe it's down to the size difference, but I'm finding it impossible not to constantly put my finger right over the camera lens when holding it in one hand. Interested if anyone else finds this or if I'm holding it in a funny way.
My index finger slightly touches the camera ridge but not the lens. The ridge's circumference feels too uncomfortable to place finger across it.

Not at all. The problem lies with my laptop itself. As I said, I don't feel any current while plugging in the adapter. It happens only when I connect the phone to the laptop via USB. Also, when I touch the open end of the USB cable while the other end is plugged into the laptop's USB port, again I get a shock. Same for the VGA port and the headphone jack. I firmly believe that laptop is the culprit
And btw, all the electrical installations in my house were renewed not more than two years ago. So, no doubt they are perfectly healty.
I read recently that this issue may be resolved in Lumia Camera Beta. Perhaps worth a shot.i have huge problems with recording videos, when i use lumia camera (5) on 1080p the video becomes "laggy" EVERY 20 sec. it is sooo annoying especially because i chose to get this phone especially for its camera/movies ... :/
i've already tried everything, reinstalling, using different card/internal memroy, disabling the dolby sound, etc.
the lagging problem occurs only with lumia camera(5) app, the phone works just fine with any other app including lumia camera classic (4).
the lagging is visible when playing the previoulsy recorded video on my phone, my computer, my tv so i guess it is an app bug/problem.
when i change the recording quality from 1080 to 720 it works fine, but i really want to use the 1080 quality on lumia camera 5 app and i am angry AF that it isn't working :/
i don't really want to use any other quality or any other app, simply because i quite like the color enhacement (or whatever it is, that makes the photos & vids looking so nice) on lumia camera 5, i am so disappointed
You're welcome, glad it worked outthank you thank you thank you ! so much ! you've made my day, lumia camera beta works perfectly, once again big thanks!
You're welcome, glad it worked out
Good day Mr Bean. From your comments I read here I take it that you are still using a 830 and kept your 720 as a back up? Correct assumption? Greetings from sunny but chilly Kalk Bay.
So I recently got my Lumia 830. I've noticed that my battery drains quite fast. Its a fairly new phone so I don't know what's wrong. In one and a half hour it's drained from 100% to 75% and I've been lightly texting (around 2 texts every 20 minutes including WhatsApp). Any help?
Check out the Battery saver app. It displays a list of apps according to their battery usage. There you may find what's causing the drainage. Also go through the settings app and check if unnecessary services are on. Turn them on only when needed. Ex. Location, motion data, Bluetooth, NFC, etc. Also you may reduce the screen brightness when in low lit places.
My 830 needs a single charge before going to bed every night.
