@Sanjay, NSU was not showing the update yesterday.. Did you try it today?

Although if you run NSU in offline mode after putting the update files in the program data location, it detects it.

hey i downloaded the nokia care suite from softpedia but its not showing rm-826 in the product section ... what to do now plz reply and after downloadin all files i have total of 11 files only in the folder rm- 826 bt in the screenshopt posted by u ... i can see total of 18 files... plz clarify m waiting pllzzzzzzzz.

@rohitmarines only 11 files are required.. the rest have come up there after updating.
@smasithick ,@sanjay chandra some people had problems updating using NSU it detects but gives an error trying to flash so i posted the other method so that no one would have any problems..

hey every one .....

its great discovery by me ....u can update very easily by nokia software updater by working offline...

just put all ur file in the specified folder C: \ Program Data \ Nokia \ Packages \ Products \ rm-826 and cut off ur internet connection

2.... run NSU

3... it will give error after connecting to the device...

4 then it will ask u to work offline .. click on the offline

here u go u can update it very easily without any problem....

Thanks for the tutorial . I flashed my L820 yesterday night , everything went very smooth except that I could not find call + SMS Filter under settings. What might be the problem?

@RahulRana NO issues with my Wi-Fi so far.. anybody else facing that issue?

Please use the QR and update your extras + info app and you should be able to get call + SMS filter

EXTRAS + INFO


DISPLAY + TOUCH


OR ELSE wait for a day store will automatically suggest you an app update for all nokia apps.

app updates are working no issues

When do you get this error, before flashing or in the middle of it?
You might have to redownload the ffu file...

Can anyone check and confirm if they see 'Update automatically' option for Date+Time setting after this update? I used to have it before update, but seems I lost it somehow after flashing it !!!

before flashing my L820 with GDR2 I used to get notifications regarding apps update usually shown by numbers on the store tile but after flashing my phone I am not getting any notification for apps update though there are numbers of updates waiting . Anything I am missing regarding configuration of updates ?

yes , there are two options : 24 hr. clock and set automatically.
