Nokia Lumia 928 keyboard autocorrect defect

For some reason swiping keys turns on autocorrect now. I don't know why. I can't find the option anywhere. It takes up more real estate, lags my phone, and is really irritating. Also the keys are less accurate to type now. This's exactly why I switched to this phone. Never been a problem before this update. Anyone know how to shut this autocorrect garbage off?

Have you tried looking under settings >> keyboard settings?

Did you check under SETTINGS > keyboard the advanced setting
Or did you tap the language because than you also get a list of settings.

Okay this is super weird. I can get to that screen but mine is worded slightly different and they're almost all grayed out and unchecked. English (United States). Should I try switching to UK English you think? Does it even matter? o_O This is so bizarre.

Yes you could try. And if this works you could uninstall the US keyboard and than install it again.
