Guys if your firmware version is 1030.6407.1308.0002 then you will get amber update. If its still in 0001 (my phone firmware version is 0001) you will not get amber update. Today again will go to nokia care n speak about this issue.

I have updated my Lumia 620 to amber, but my Display + Touch option's only change is the addition of Touch Sensitivity. no Glance for me. I'm from the Philippines.

Also after flashing your update for all System App wil go for which ssome fixes and apps may disapper (eg. Storage check)

Go to Store and download "Nokia Systems Apps" and from there manually update all your nokia Systems Apps prior to Amber update.
Thats it buddy ...you are yourself a Nokia Care and ready to doenload a Amber.

Hell with Nokia care..hell with the wait for Amber !!!

The Success lies beneath ..



Follow my previous steps to get the AMBER update!!

N.B : After updating the Nokia Systems Apps (from where i left in previous post).

When you see the update ..don't mistake with Amber (its a small update) for Windows.

Then again you check for updates and you will get the notification again.Through that Amber update starts (nearly 1.5 hrs) ..

I thought Lumia 620 wasn't supposed to get Glance due to absence of AMOLED screen, but here it is in my phone...

battery life yet to be observed..!
its nearly 350 mb ..it wil take you maximum 1.5 hrs -2hrs to get the update..keep your phone on charge while on update

Glance is always there...Double tap is not present

Did you update your extras+info app? Use Lumia pusher to update sys apps... you may need to open one by one to see the new updates.

Got the update today. Really glad to see Data Sense made available and have also noticed the phone feels more smoother in performance. The update however didn't reduce my Other storage at all.
